The Club has been fortunate in recent years to receive support from several organisations.  National Power allowed us to develop the abandoned football pitch next to the ground as a junior training area and directly from this we were able to receive substantial funding from Sportsmatch, which matches new funding for grass roots sport.  Additionally Tesco Charity Trust also provided financial assistance and in the last year we were able to enhance the clubs junior facilities with the following:

Flicx pitches are plastic based cricket wicket which can be moved and used around a ground as required.  These provide excellent facilities for children to learn batting and bowling skills as each pitch has coaching marks on them.

New batting nets have been purchased which allow better batting practice to take place.

'Crazy Cradle' is a catching device which rebounds a ball thrown into it at strange angles.  It is ideal for practising slip fielding as you do not know where the ball is going.

With the help of more sponsorship money from Sportsmatch, the club has been able to purchase another bowling machine (Courtney)
