Fantasy Cricket 2008
This year the club is running a fantasy cricket league made up of Didcot players.
The rules are as follows:-
- Each team must be made up of 4 batsmen, 2 All Rounders, 1 Wicket Keeper, 4 Bowlers
- The total value of the team must add up to no more than 65. Players have been awarded their values purely based on last year’s Fantasy Cricket Score where available.
- There will be a transfer window between the 6th and 11th July where you will be able to make up to 3 substitutions. However the team must still meet the original criteria. To make substitutions contact Paul Costello.
- Points will only be awarded for Cherwell League Games.
- In the event of a game being abandoned, any points scored before the abandonment will stand
- It will cost £5 to enter a team with the winning team manager and the person finishing 2nd receiving cash prizes.
- Teams can be entered at any point throughout the season but only points awarded after registration will count
- Players are allowed to pick themselves and can enter as many teams as they wish
- Any players that join the club in the first half of the season will be available to be picked in the transfer window.
Scores will be awarded as shown below
- 1 pt for every run scored
- 15 pts for every wicket taken
- 20 bonus pts for a 50
- 50 bonus points for a 100
- 30 bonus pts for 5 wickets in an innings
- 75 bonus pts for 8 wickets in an innings
- 10 pts per catch/stumping
- 5 points will be deducted for a duck
